阈，界限：①刚能产生感觉或被感知或刚达感觉限的刺激强度，参见absolute t.， differential t.；②刺激进入意识必须通过的设想壁障；③血浆中物质浓度界限，超逾此限即由肾排出，低于此限则否；这类物质即阈物质(threshold substance)
习惯用语absolute threshold
绝对阈，刺激阈：能产生感觉的最低限度的刺激；同stimulus thresholdachromatic threshold
感色阈，无色阈：能产生色觉的最低光谱强度，低于此限只有光感而无色觉auditory threshold
听阈：最小可听度，即能听到的最轻音threshold of consciousness
感觉阈：最低意识度，即感知的最低限度，刚能被觉察的强度convulsant threshold
惊厥阈，最低惊厥剂量：电击和治疗时引起惊厥所需的最低电流量或药物剂量differential threshold
差阈，分辨阈：分辨觉最低限，为此两个刺激的差异度须达二者刺激总和的一半displacement threshold
