(AFP)甲胎蛋白：一种血浆蛋白，分子量70，000，电泳时在α1区移动，系胎儿肝脏、卵黄囊及胃肠道所产生，生后1岁末，血清中甲胎蛋白水平即已大为减低，但在患肝细胞癌以及睾丸、卵巢和在非性腺部位发生畸胎瘤及胚细胞瘤时，又可再次上升；但肝脏非恶性疾患如肝硬化，病毒性肝炎时，亦可增高。测定甲胎蛋白的主要意义有二，即监测肝癌和胚细胞瘤的治疗反应和出生前诊断神经管缺损(表现为羊水中甲胎蛋白水平的增高)- adenotome
